This is exactly what Theelk is talking about being more difficult. This is a common and widely used purpose for the security log to track what and when users are logging on and off. In server logon events displayed the user account associated with the event. Now we have to create our own custom filters in XML? Can anybody provide us with the the string we need to add to the custom filter for TargetUserName that is displayed in the details of an event?
Friday, January 22, PM. Its looking bleak. Spent some more time trying to get the account name now held within the event properties to appear in the main window but no joy.
